Let’s Be Besties Artist Collective

The Art of Game Night

Original artwork, shared ideas, and mahjong mats with a story to tell. Meet the independent artists creating with Let’s Be Besties and find a little of their world for your table.

Good Things Happen When We Create Together

The Let’s Be Besties Artist Collective brings independent artists into our world through special collaborations. Each starts with an artist’s own point of view, then brings it into the colors, patterns, and details of a mahjong mat.

Alongside our in-house designs, these collections give you more ways to find something personal. A watercolor wash you keep coming back to. A pattern that feels just right with your tiles. A piece of an artist’s work that becomes part of your weekly game.

Thoughtful From Artwork to Finished Mat

Our collaboration mats are designed and printed in the United States, with women-led creative and production teams bringing the artwork to your table. Each is printed to order, with attention to the color and detail that give the design its character.

A Little More About the Artist Collective

What is the Artist Collective?

The Artist Collective is our growing group of collaborations with independent artists. Each collection brings an artist’s original work into Let’s Be Besties mahjong mat designs, with a distinct creative point of view.

How are Artist Collective mats different from your other designs?

Our in-house mats begin with Let’s Be Besties’ own designs. Artist Collective mats bring an independent artist’s work into the process through a collaboration. Both are part of the same world of thoughtful design, personal tables, and good company.

Can I choose different materials or sizes?

Options vary by design. Check the individual mat’s product page for the materials and sizes available, then choose what works for your table.

Have Something to Bring to the Table?

We’d love to see it. If you’re an artist interested in collaborating, email Laurie with a little about yourself, a link to your work, and what you have in mind.
